Symone Shaw
Owner & Executive Planner
After graduating from Troy University with a Bachelors Degree in Hospitality Sport & Tourism Management, Symone started event planning at internships with GoPro Event Solutions and M. Elizabeth Events in Birmingham, Alabama. These popular companies taught her the unique intricacies of the event industry and what it truly takes to be a successful event coordinator. Shortly after the completion of her internships, she accepted a position at the historic event venue, Events at Haven, as an Event Coordinator. Symone has also worked as a freelance wedding assistant to various wedding planners throughout the Southeast! Most notably she has freelanced for Tara Guerard Soiree in Charleston, SC at various weddings around the country for two years. Tara was voted "Best Wedding Planner in the Southeast United States" by Vogue Magazine in 2018 and one of "The Top Wedding Planners in the World" by Harper's Bazaar in 2020.

Erin Sloan
Associate Planner
Ever since Erin was a little girl she always knew she wanted to be an event planner. Planning birthday parties for family and working events all through college, this Mississippi State grad landed her dream internship with Susan G. Koman to plan the Race for the Cure in Birmingham, AL. After completing her internship she went on to work for a local event company and eventually became the Event Manager for a popular Birmingham venue! Erin is wife to Tyler and a mom to her curly headed little boy Jack and sweet baby Janie. She is a Birmingham native and absolutely loves everything about working with our brides and most importantly prides herself in making sure their days are everything they ever imagined and more!
Katharine Fesperman
Associate Planner
After graduating from Georgia College and State University, Katharine took a leap of faith and moved to Birmingham to begin her career in the sales industry, site unseen. Within a few years she found herself in a new role as an Event Coordinator at Birmingham’s The Club. Since then, she has continued to pursue her passion and immerse herself in the hospitality industry with Marriott Hotels. Katharine’s joy for life is so contagious, we can’t wait for you to work with her!
Whitney Davis
Associate Planner
Spending much of her life growing up surrounded by hospitality professionals, it was only natural that Whitney would one day join the industry herself! She has served in many capacities over the years ranging from catering and banquet sales to managing her own sales team in various hotels throughout the Birmingham Metro area. Today, her career spans over two decades and she has established herself and noteworthy Sales & Marketing professional! She and her husband Justin married in 2003 and have since welcomed three beautiful children, Jack, Laney and Stella. Helping bring joy to a couple's special day is truly an honor and Whitney feels exceptionally blessed to be a part of it!
Lala McKenny
Associate Planner
While receiving her undergraduate degree in Communications at Troy University, Lala began working for a local boutique that showed her creative side and encouraged her true passion: building relationships with people! To her surprise, this job would eventually lead to a public relations internship with a local, non-profit organization. While interning, she learned and executed the process of organizing events, communicating with stakeholders, updating the organization’s crisis management plan, and more! She went on to graduate from the University of Alabama’s Advertising and Public Relations Masters program. As a young, newer resident to the Birmingham area, she is working to pursue a deeper understanding of wedding and event planning with hands-on experience that she prays will one day help to contribute to her ultimate career: organizing events. The ultimate hype girl, we know you will love her!
